Screening Equipment

Screening equipment, often called a screen or screener, is a machine used to separate mixtures of raw materials (like crushed rock, ore, sand, gravel, plastics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, etc.) into different grades of particle size by passing them through a vibrating screen surface with specific-sized openings.

The basic principle is simple: smaller particles pass through the apertures (known as undersize or fines), while larger particles are carried across the screen and discharged as oversize.
