Screw Conveyor
Screw Conveyor utilizes a rotating spiral blade to move materials along a fixed casing. The direction of material transport is determined by the rotation direction of the screw shaft.
It is widely used for horizontal or inclined conveying of powdered, granular, and small lump materials in industries such as food, condiments, pesticides, feed, coal, ash, cement, grain, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and environmental protection projects including sludge handling.
This conveyor is not suitable for perishable, viscous, or easily agglomerated materials. Common material options include stainless steel grades such as 304, 310, 310L, 316, and 316L.
The stainless steel screw conveyor uses a rotating screw to push the conveyed material along the fixed casing for conveying. The direction of rotation of the rotating shaft of the stainless steel screw conveyor determines the conveying direction of the material.
